Meet Grass Roots Rescue
Grass Roots Rescue is a Delaware-based, all-volunteer nonprofit dedicated to helping dogs in need. The organization rescues dogs of all breeds, ages, and medical conditions and provides care, training, and support while they wait to find their forever families. They were also guests at our Grand Opening and provided puppies for our puppy yoga activity.
Not ready to adopt? There are plenty of other ways to support the organization, including fostering, volunteering, donating, and simply helping spread the word about dogs looking for homes.
Just Another Reason to Love Life in Milton
One of our favorite things about living in Milton, Delaware is having local events like this right in our backyard. From community gatherings and farmers markets to live music, local businesses, and events at Dogfish Head, there’s always something bringing people together.
At The Granary, that sense of connection is a big part of what we believe makes a community feel like home. Yappy Hour is a perfect example: neighbors gathering, supporting a local organization, and maybe even helping a four-legged friend find a home along the way.
So, mark your calendar for September 1, head over to Dogfish Head, and prepare to meet some very good dogs.
Who knows? You might leave with a new best friend!
